again a small place on the shore the palms, on the sandy dunes the stream masts

At about 9.30 am the SHIP Solaris left at Kom Ombo towards Esna. The cruise passes some palm trees, sugar cane and papyrus fields as well as the small villages of the Fellah.
Once in a while we find some water buffaloes browsing peaceful at the waterfront and we hear somewhere in the distance a donkey braying. It sounds heartbreaking, but is it really as hard as it seems to be for the donkeys?

We enjoy the trip watching alternately the green landscape, the desert and into our guidebook. Most people are awake this time when we passed the stone graves shortly after 11 am again.
