For the end of the vacation it pulls us on the sea. More precisely , to the dolphins. Since Samir is sure that his crew will find some. So certainly that we should only pay one part of the excursion, if we do not meet one. Like the Cairo excursion we had also selected this experience already at home. Indeed, a day before it went off, Samir informed us that he unfortunately had no German-speaking crew for the day. However, this could not deter us after the great experience with Simsim in Cairo (we especially ascertain later, that all the others in the deck also spoke German).

a lot of space at the board small submarine with even smaller lookout

After we heard at the hotel from travellers with Eagle Travels that during their dolphin tour they were the only Germans in the midst of a Russian speaking and drinking clique, we were already a little curious who goes with us. Unfortunately, we are not first aboard, so that for a moment the best places seem to be booked. Or possibly does everything only crowd in the lower rear area? So swiftly climbed on the upper deck and " Yes, everything free! " Indeed, I do not know why, but anyhow at the beginning nobody has dared to go upwards except us and (immediately afterwards) a Austrian family. However, it is also not bad. Thus we have a free choice, whether shade or sun, and a lot of place for our beach towels.

just relax and enjoy the trip Coral reef in the Red Sea

When on a dolphin excursion with satisfaction or money back you expect to find dolphins. That means that the crew drives you from one place to another where dolphins are likely to be seen. When they are really seen at a reef the sip is anchored. We are told to dive towards the dolphins. But because they are ten times faster than we are and they have a lead over us, I think it is a hopeless attempt. Therefore we decide to watch the corals first and take some nice pictures.

Hurray, the dolphins come!!! finally, a motive what keeps still

After lunch we go snorkelling at a near reef. just as the ship boy of the crew jumps off the ship, the skipper discovers a drove of dolphins. the anchor is weighed and the ship starts its tour. Hardly anyone notices that the ship boy, who was told to tie the bost, has just been left behind.

Coral reef in the midst of a dolphin flock of big tumblers

In the next moment we hear "jump, jump, jump!“ What means that we have to jump out of the bout while driving. A few minutes later we are amidst the dolphin herd. We don't have to hurry this time because we aren't the only ones who are curious. Indeed some dolphins swim to us and circumscribe us some times. But touching is strictly forbidden. The parents of the younger dolphins could interpret this as an attack.

Eye in eye with a great porpoise

When we drive back very happy after half an hour a roistering chant sounds towards us. Oh, the ships boy! The poor one had to wait all the time alone with his fins on the reef. And if this wasn't enough he also has to follow the main part of the group snorkelling around the reef before we return to Hurghada and a really great trip ends.
