Etosha National Park

After we visited the Vingerklip we take some roads covered with broken-stone and the C39 to Outjo. From Outjo we take the C38 to the North in direction of Okaukuejo.
Or, which is better known: to the Etosha National Park! Shortly before we arrive, our guide asks us to watch out for animals. Actually he himself had only two eyes and he couldn't look everywhere at the same time.

We were not yet ready, to look for animals, when Jayjay drives the bus some meters behind the entrance to the man-made water hole on the left hand side. The next thing we hear is how Sydney calls: „A giraffe in front of us, beside it there are guinea-fowls, regent a springbok, and some meters further some zebras.” Wow! We are all paralysed with happiness. We really didn't expect that we would only have to drive a few meters into the park to see the first animals.

Not long after we took our first pictures we saw a group of antelopes and shortly after some elephants which past the horizon. A glance at my watch assured that we have been only for nearly half an hour in the Etosha national Park. A bit later we get to know, that we have good luck to see so many animals. Of course there are more than 32 000 of springboks and an uncountable number of zebras how life in big groups in the park, as well as elephants and lions, but not every visitor is lucky enough to get a glimpse of any of them.
