Lions in Etosha National Park

Lion Lion

Even before we arrive at the next water hole at ”Aus”, Sydney is sure: “Right over there are lions.” How does he know? That’s quiet easy to explain, he knows it because there are absolutely no other animals around us. As we come closer, we discover two young male lions.
Quickly it's obvious that behind a stone there is some flesh or something to eat for the lions. Because the lions always gets down behind it and looks up again to see if there is anybody who wants the food to.

like our small cat... ...the lioness to it glides around the legs

There we were informed that there is a bridge near the water hole where the lions sleep. And really, after some minutes there runs out a female lion from exactly this direction. First slowly and after she sees Sydney she becomes faster. Like our own little super sweet cat, when she comes home from her tours with some steps the lion is at Sydneys side and nudges his face and his legs. “Now it's mating season”, Sydney explains. But the two of them didn't reach that point. Whereas it's obviously that Sydney is the one who doesn't want to. Well, actually we don't have to see everything…
